"We have been dealing with Rimtech and using their software for approximately 18 years.
During that time we have progressed from their original DOS-based software and are now using their ProfitPak software package.
This covers all our operational areas of sales, purchasing, stock control, debtors, creditors, General Ledger and reporting facilities.
ProfitPak is very efficient with multi-site and multi stock location issues as well, and we have utilized that facility with our three retail store locations and our factory, operating from one head office.
The program is user friendly and there are support staff available readily from their Brisbane office. We have always found the staff at Rimtech to be very friendly, approachable and prompt in assisting with queries.
It is great to be able to get extra training quickly if required. The company is very willing to customize areas of the software to suit our requirements and will take on any suggestions we may have.

Gulfstar Investments Pty Ltd (trading as Metal Spray Supplies)
"Gulfstar Investments purchased our Rimtech accounting program from Murray Williamson of Rimtech Software in 1993. At that time we were working from our home and the program was DOS based. Murray and his team trained us in the use of the software and offered unlimited phone support during those first few months. We were a bit worried the first time we did a statement run, as we had been told that if you were going to have problems, that's when they would happen. We did our first and subsequent statement runs without any problems at all.
We stayed with the DOS based program for as long as we could because we were comfortable with it, but eventually had to change to Windows based. We did this with very little interruption to our business. Of course we had the odd hiccup as with any new program but with the support of the Rimtech office they were usually overcome with very little downtime.
I would like to commend the support staff at Rimtech, who I always found to be helpful and friendly. We have recently sold our business and therefore will no longer require the services of Murray and his team, but have complete confidence that they will service the new owners well.
